Cleaning with Dye:
When the hardware on your bag is rusty, cleaning with dye is one of the more effective methods. Simply pour dye into a small basin, dip a soft-bristled brush in the dye, and gently scrub the rusty hardware. Repeat several times until the rust is clean.
Cleaning with Vinegar:
Vinegar is a natural acid that effectively removes rust. It can also be used to clean bag hardware. Mix white vinegar and water in a 1:1 ratio, pour it into a small basin, soak the rusty hardware in the vinegar water for about 30 minutes, and then scrub with a soft-bristled brush in the same direction.
Wiping with Oil:
For rusty hardware on your bag, you can first wipe it with oil. The oil applied to the rusty area will soften the rust. Then, repeatedly scrub with a soft-bristled brush until the rust comes off.
Using Rust Remover:
Various rust removers are available on the market. Using rust remover can also remove rust from bag hardware. When using it, simply apply the rust remover evenly to the rusted area, then gently scrub with a soft brush for a few minutes, allow it to react for a while, and then rinse it thoroughly with clean water.
